Rio Tinto Gudai - Darri (Koodaideri) Rail Formation

2019 - Present
100 Kilometres of rail formation, A Grade Earthworks has been involved from the start of the project.
Excavate and commission Blood Wood compound, Turkey Nest and start to clear the trace line before any other machines arrived.
We have some 10-12 pieces of plant onsite - GPS Excavators / GPS Graders, Water Carts, Loader, Float, Side Tipper, and 6 wheel tippers involved in all aspects of rail formation.
BHP Low Level Bridges Project

2018 - 2020
Contracting to Laing O'Rourke, A Grade Earthworks was involved in the removal of 7 live rail bridges and replacement with concrete pre tensioned culvert bridges. Flagged as a "Five Flag Project" for BHP, the project was a great success. All bridges were removed and replaced within a 12-hour shut with the longest bridge being 70 metres long in length.
A Grade Earthworks was contracted to supply machines and personal detailed earthworks for structures, some rail formation, bridge abutment, removal and replacement, and compaction and finish, armour rock supply and placement.
The work front was spread over 70 kms with all plant and material movements undertaken by A Grade Earthworks.
Main Roads/ Northlink Project - Malaga Interchange

2016 - 2018
Involvement in 1.4 million cubic metres of cut and fill material placement. Road and bridge formation.
Embankment and pavement formation.
Detailed finishing works with some 20 pieces of plant onsite and operators working with BGC/ Laing O'Rourke Joint Venture.
BHP Tug Harbour Excavation Port Hedland

2015 - 2019
Involvement in excavation of 1 million cubic metres of bulk earthworks. Finishing batters and laying armour rock.
Drainage and culvert work for embankment construction and pavement preparation of 1.8 kilometres of sealed road. All finishing and detailed works involved in the job handover.
